March 12, 2017
This past weekend was the Honolulu Festival which promotes understanding, economic cooperation, and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region. A 2 hour long parade (longest parade I have seen without a horse in it) highlighting marching bands, dance groups, queens and princesses from many Pacific countries displayed their customs, all followed with a spectacular fireworks display.
