The trip to Hawaii was a long day. We were up at 4am to check in 3 hours before our flight but the agents didn't show up until about 2 hours before our flight. We did get off on time and connected to our Honolulu flight on schedule in Salt Lake. We encountered strong headwinds which resulted in a seven hour trip to Honolulu. But as soon as we stepped off of the plane and felt the soft tropical air and gentle breeze that was all forgotten. Our condo agent met us at our suite and everything was ready. It's small but well organized and very much what we expected and provides everything that we need. Today, February 2nd we purchased our bus passes, bought a few groceries and basically got organized. We couldn't get our computer to open our email but we found a computer wizard down the block who fixed it, we hope. I am posting a couple of photos, one is the first glimpse of the island and its turquoise sea and the other is Diamond Head before dawn taken today on our morning walk.
